Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Graphic Designer at Homegaatha. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing graphics, designing logos and branding materials, social media creatives - static and videos and working with typography. You will collaborate with the team to bring design concepts to life and ensure brand consistency across all visuals. This role will be based in New Delhi, but with flexibility for some remote work.
1. Designing:
Design visually compelling graphics, illustrations, and layouts for social media posts, stories, reels, and videos. Develop engaging and on-brand visual content for various digital platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads etc. Create eye-catching thumbnails, banners, and other assets for social media and web use.
2. Video Production:
Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualise, design, and produce high-quality videos, including short-form content, animations, and motion graphics. Edit raw video footage, adding effects, transitions, and audio to enhance the final product. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video concepts that align with our brand and campaign goals.
3. Social Media Campaigns:
Work closely with the marketing team to create and execute visually appealing social media campaigns. Ensure all visual content aligns with the brand's voice, style, and messaging.
Stay up-to-date with social media trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to keep our content fresh and engaging.
4. Brand Consistency:
Maintain and evolve the brand's visual identity across all social media channels.
Ensure consistency in design elements, color schemes, and typography.
5. Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, copywriting, and web development, to deliver cohesive and impactful content.
Provide creative input and contribute to brainstorming sessions for new campaigns and projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably with a focus on social media content.
Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
Strong understanding of social media platforms and their specific design requirements.
Excellent visual storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
A portfolio showcasing your graphic design and video production work would be required.
