Job Description

The Video & Multimedia Intern will collaborate on video production and other digital projects to enhance safety culture within Disney. Responsibilities include managing media assets, partnering with clients for creative solutions, supporting technical planning for training materials, and staying updated on industry trends to develop impactful content for Cast Members. The internship runs from June 2025 to January 2026 and requires proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and experience with various cameras. A portfolio showcasing your skills is mandatory for consideration.
Must have:
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Experience with various cameras
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and in a team
  • Portfolio submission
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Basic graphic design knowledge
  • Prior Disney Cast Member experience

About the Role & Program:

Safety is an organizational priority and an integral part of the 5 Keys. The Worldwide Safety & Health/Engineering/Sourcing(WSHES) Creative team is the department that inspires our Guests and over 100,000 Cast Members globally to make safe and balanced choices through stories, humor and creative solutions. We make safety, wellness and training come alive through innovative and engaging communications that include infographics, videos, multifaceted signage and storytelling.

The approximate dates of this internship are June 2025 - January 2026.

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate to produce videos and other digital work to support our various partners and improve our safety culture
  • Maintain and manage assets and media files to maintain organizational workflow
  • Partner with clients and collaborators to develop creative solutions to meet their individual needs
  • Support of technical planning, development and production of materials for new training
  • Stay on top of trends and thinking of ways to create impactful content for Cast Members

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Proven ability to work creatively with various types of cameras
  • Proven ability to problem solve, think critically and manage multiple projects independently and within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
  • Basic graphic design knowledge
  • Previous experience as a Disney Cast Member

Materials Required:

  • A portfolio review is required. For full consideration, please include a link to your portfolio on your résumé. Applicants without a portfolio link on their résumé will not be considered a completed application packet and may not be fully considered for the position

Education:

  • Junior or Senior year preferred
  • Major or previous coursework in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, TV/AV Production, Fine Arts, Digital Media or a related major

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements: 

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. 
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants:  You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.  
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information:

  • Fully available for the duration of the internship (approximately 40 hours each week)
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
  • Be compliant with appearance guidelines
  • Limited housing opportunities may be available for Florida Based Professional Interns through American Campus Communities, for more information

The pay rate for this role in Florida is $22.00 per hour.
