Moloco is seeking an experienced Head of Mid Market Gaming Growth to lead its growing team and client base in China. The role involves leading a team of 6 Growth account managers, owning revenue and client success for mid-market mobile gaming companies in China. Key responsibilities include building strategic client relationships, driving upsell and retention, managing revenue targets and forecasting, ensuring operational discipline in campaign execution, and shaping the go-to-market strategy for Moloco Ads' mid-market gaming business in China. The position also requires people leadership, including coaching, developing, and managing the performance of the Growth Managers, fostering a collaborative team culture, and supporting career development.
Must have:
  • 10+ years of experience in mobile advertising, digital marketing, or adtech with a strong gaming background.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
  • Proven success in managing client portfolios and growing revenue in a performance-based environment.
  • Familiarity with programmatic advertising, mobile attribution (MMPs), and app monetization metrics (ROAS, CPI, LTV).
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills in Mandarin Chinese and English.
  • Strategic thinker with an execution mindset, balancing vision with operational rigor.
Good to have:
  • Experience leading a regional team in a high-growth or startup environment.
  • Existing network within China's gaming ecosystem.
  • Comfort working with data tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau) and CRM platforms.

The Impact You’ll Be Contributing to Moloco:

Moloco is on a mission to empower mobile businesses through operational machine learning. As a leader in the mobile DSP space, we're seeking an experienced and strategic person to help lead our growing team and client base in China.

In this role, you will lead a team of 6 Growth account managers and own revenue and client success outcomes for a portfolio of China-based mid-market mobile gaming companies. You'll set the vision and direction for your team, drive campaign and account strategy, and deliver strong business results through operational excellence and deep client partnerships.

Here’s what you’ll be working on:

With you leading Growth for China’s mid-market gaming business, you will:

Client Growth & Success

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders at gaming companies.

  • Serve as an executive sponsor for priority clients, ensuring we meet performance goals and establish long-term partnerships.

  • Drive upsell, cross-sell, and retention strategies across your team’s portfolio.

Operational & Revenue Ownership

  • Own revenue targets and forecasting across the mid-market gaming segment.

  • Instill operational discipline in campaign execution, reporting, and account management.

  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Solutions Engineering, and Marketing to elevate the client experience.

Strategic Leadership

  • Shape and execute the GTM strategy for Moloco Ads’ mid-market gaming business in China.

  • Provide market insights and client feedback to inform product roadmap and sales enablement.

  • Represent the China Growth team in internal leadership forums.

People & Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of high-performing Growth Managers focused on mid-market gaming advertisers.

  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and growth-minded team culture.

  • Support career development through mentorship, structured feedback, and performance management.

Here is what you need to succeed: 

Experience & Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in mobile advertising, digital marketing, or adtech, with a strong background in gaming.
