Healthcare / Pharma Project Manager

We are currently seeking a Project Manager (Contract) to join a dynamic team at a prominent American pharmaceutical company. This is an onsite opportunity in Mettawa, Illinois, with the potential for remote work after an initial training period. The contract is for 3 months, with the possibility of extension.

About the Opportunity:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented project manager to apply their expertise in a compliance-driven environment. In this role, you will support the execution of key projects, ensure adherence to compliance systems, and manage important project details. If you have a background in project management, problem-solving, and working within compliance frameworks, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team and grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run monthly reports to track active projects and review related documentation.
• Follow up with researchers and suppliers to gather missing information or resolve discrepancies.
• Record results in a spreadsheet and collaborate with your Manager to create risk reduction plans.
• Conduct supplier evaluation renewals and request approval from Procurement for supplier additions.
• Submit requests related to supplier changes, including updates to name, address, or banking information.
• Escalate issues to the Manager as needed and provide support for Purchase Order (PO) and Purchase Order Change Notices (POCN), ensuring all documents are accurate and complete.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in project management, with a strong track record of problem-solving and supporting project execution.
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate compliance systems and procedures.
• Strong investigatory skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working in a matrix organization or similar environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.

Preferred Experience:

• 2-3 years of project management experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical or market research industries.
• Familiarity with SAP and/or SNAPP is a plus.

Additional Information:

• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, standard 40-hour workweek.
