Intern - Failure Analysis Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Conduct a comprehensive lab test of the failed HDD to obtain the required data for electrical failure analysis * Collaborate with senior engineers to summarize test data for the FA conclusion * Perform signal analysis and magnetic analysis on the failed HDD to identify the error cause REQUIRED: * Pursuing a bachelor’s in Physics, Electronics, and Electrical engineering * The internship period must be at least 4-6 months PREFERRED: * Hands-on and teamwork. * Programming skills (Python, etc) is optional SKILLS: * Demonstrate a good level of English proficiency (written/verbal) * Proficient in Presentation Skills and Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel Western Digital thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
