Our team has been the driving force for innovation in the area of document automation within the PwC Network. The team operates document automation platform that is being used in almost 50 countries, will soon provide the services to the whole PwC Network globally and expand to external markets. Our team provides broad range of services, such as solution design, software implementation, software development and integrations, application management and maintenance, robotic process automation or data analytics. Radek works as a Tech-team leader in the Document Automation (DA) team, leading the IT division of the DA team. His team is responsible for taking care of all IT related aspects of the existing solutions as well as the new IT projects - spanning from ensuring smooth operation of the existing systems, infrastructure and services to creating new applications (for internal and external clients) using the top tier technology. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoor exploring new places, driving, playing speed-chess or just watching any good movies.
For a growing PwC’s Document Automation team based in Czech Republic we are looking for an IT Solutions Architect / Integrations Specialist. As such, you will be responsible for designing technical solutions & communication architecture for our internal and external integration projects. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, translate them into comprehensive solution designs, oversee their development and ensure a successful implementation for the client.We are looking for someone with a strong technical background, and a project management attitude.
Technical Designs: Develop and document technical designs for internal and external integrations and solutions that align with business requirements and IT strategy.
Solution Architecture: Create high-level architecture diagrams, data flow models, and technical specifications that guide the development and implementation teams.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clients, business analysts, project managers, developers and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with the overall project goals.
Technology Evaluation: Assess and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks that best suit the project’s needs and ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
Integration: Design integration strategies that ensure seamless communication between different systems, applications, and platforms.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and provide mitigation strategies throughout the design and development process.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the architecture meets quality standards and best practices through regular reviews and testing.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the solution designs, architecture, and any changes made during the project lifecycle.
University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience in designing and implementing integration projects.
Strong knowledge of various integration patterns, APIs, middleware, and cloud services.
Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about complex systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to convey technical concepts to the non-technical stakeholders. Client approach.
Structured and organized approach, eye for a detail, proactivity and a “can-do“ attitude.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+) and Czech/Slovak.
Goal-orientation and a flexibility to work autonomously (as well as part of the team).
Ability to work in a dynamic environment, stress-resiliency, drive to meet deadlines.
Programming experience and API proficiency.
Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, cloud Solutions Architect) are a plus.
