Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Concept Artist to be part of our amazing AAA PC/Console game: Rainbow Six Siege and future projectsIf you want to work in a friendly and international environment, join our team.

What you´ll do

  • Produce sketches and quick iterations (digital and/or paper).
  • Create concepts of characters or props from existing references or from scratch.
  • Propose concepts to the artistic team and discuss possibilities.
  • Adapt your artwork based on feedback.
  • Find a balance between artistic aspects and technical constraints.
  • Refine your concept art based on Art Direction guidance.
  • Work closely with the Art Director, Lead Artist and overall art team.

Qualifications

What you´ll bring

  • Solid knowledge of drawing (anatomy, perspective, tridimensional volumes)  and color theory.
  • Solid knowledge of character and prop design.
  • Solid understanding of what concept art entails in a Live Game context, particularly character customization.
  • Solid Photoshop skills. Knowledge of Blender (and/or 3ds Max or Maya) in terms of modelling and texturing it’s also a big plus.
  • Enthusiastic approach to communication with the different art and design departments, understanding of team-work importance.
  • Ability to work within deadlines and good time management.
  • Solid education foundations (Art-School, Design Education, Online Classes/Courses)
  • Previous work (freelance or in-house) is a plus.
