We at FutureWorks are looking for an experienced Facility Manager. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and efficiency of our facilities. Your role involves managing a team of maintenance staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implementing strategies to optimize facility operations. You will collaborate with various departments to meet organizational needs while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Facility Maintenance: Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs to ensure facilities are operational and safe.
Team Management: Lead a team of maintenance technicians, janitorial staff, and contractors, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective performance and adherence to safety protocols.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the facility budget, including forecasting expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and overseeing procurement of supplies and services.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
Security: Implement security protocols and procedures to safeguard facilities, equipment, and personnel, including monitoring access control systems and coordinating emergency response plans.
Space Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize facility layout and utilization, including workspace design, furniture procurement, and relocation projects.
Vendor Management: Evaluate and oversee contracts with external vendors, service providers, and suppliers to ensure quality services and cost-effectiveness.
Sustainability Initiatives: Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency, reduce waste, and implement sustainable practices within the facilities.
Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans, conduct drills, and provide training to staff to ensure readiness for emergencies such as fire, natural disasters, or medical incidents.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on facility performance, maintenance activities, and budget expenditures for management review.
