ABOUT THE ROLE

 

LeoVegas is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Junior Social Media Manager to join our diverse & dynamic team in supporting the Dutch market. This role is perfect for someone with a strong interest in social media, sports, and digital marketing who is eager to grow their career in a fast-paced environment.

 

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

 

         Assist with the management of our social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) with laser focus, executing a winning strategy that aligns with our overall marketing goals.

         Assist in creating and scheduling engaging content that brings our brands to life and speaks directly to the Dutch gaming audience.

         Help monitor and respond to comments and messages on social channels with the aim of building and nurturing a thriving online community of players.

         Support the team in developing social media strategies, calendars, and campaigns.

         Contribute to the analysis of social media metrics and prepare basic reports

         Keep your finger on the pulse of the latest social media trends, platform updates, and cultural nuances to ensure our content is always relevant, fresh, and engaging.

         Ensure all social media activities adhere to regulations and industry best practices.

         Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent brand messaging.

 

 

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

        Native-level Dutch, and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

        Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field;

        Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, YouTube)

        Proficiency in basic social media management tools

        Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

        Ability to work effectively in a team environment

        Passion for social media and its role in brand building

        A basic understanding of the Dutch market

        Excellent attitude and strong work ethic

        Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of social media marketing

        Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and platforms

        Creative thinker with a keen eye for visual content

        Interest in sports and current events

 

 

NICE TO HAVES

 

        1-2 years of experience in Social Media Management

        Background in Sports Journalism (internships or freelance work accepted)

        Entry-level experience in Digital Marketing for a global brand or at an agency

        Knowledge of Dutch gambling regulations.
