Manager Technology Solutions Analysis

The markets analysis team works on the core trade execution systems that power our electronic trading platforms CME Globex, EBS Direct and BrokerTec Stream. Our systems need to be both low latency and have high reliability while continuously delivering new products and features. The Manager of the Technology Solutions Analysis works with the product, operations, and technology teams to drive creative solutions that meet the needs of our business and maintain our performance profile. The Manager of Technology Solutions Analysis will provide oversight of the analysis team and lead analysis initiatives.

Principle Accountabilities

• Provides oversight and direction for the analysis planning, analysis approach, and requirements management for direct reports. Accountable for the planning & execution of direct reports. Manages and delegates analysis work.

• Management of the team includes hiring, training, delegation and development of employees

• Leads detailed elicitation, discovery, prototyping and technical analysis activities

• Leads or is responsible for performing detailed analysis activities such as detailed requirements, user stories, interface specs, UI specs, and report specs. Accountable for the detailed analysis performance of direct reports.

• Leads or performs technical project analysis work such as data definition, mapping, messaging and API specification. Create data design, flows and mappings between integrated components

• Contribute to the product vision and impact assessment for new initiatives or enhancements

• Partner with the product, architecture and engineering teams on solution assessment and validation

• Manage an ever-evolving technical analysis knowledge base

• Establish trusted working relationships with stakeholders, delivery teams and sponsors

Skills and Software Requirements

• Experience managing or leading a team

• Strong decision making skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Great facilitation, negotiation and influence skills

• Familiar with FIX protocol and Web services

• Knowledge of Futures and Options financial markets

• Competent in Data Modeling and Visual Modeling Tools

• Proficient in Requirements Management and Knowledge Management Tools

The pay range for this role is $122,300-$203,900. Actual salary offered will be dependent on a wide array of factors including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills, education and comparison to internal employees (where relevant).
