Bungie is seeking a Principal Product Manager to drive our strategies and plans for live operations and commerce on Marathon. Using data, insights, user testing, and creative solutions, you'll inform product development with a keen sense of critical product KPI’s and game health.
Under the guidance of the Director of Product Management, you will partner closely with Design, Production, Analytics, User Research, and Marketing to plan and deliver top-notch experiences that delight our players.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive product management on live operations and commerce around tooling development, player segmentation, and in-game retention and monetization
- Manage and mentor a team of Product Managers team that oversee storefront, merchandising, and live operations retention strategy
- Outline risks, mitigation strategies, and a roadmap for validation throughout the project’s development
- Own, track, and report on metrics and KPIs that measure and reflect customer success, driving ongoing initiatives to meet forecast targets
- Deliver consolidated updates on live ops performance to the leadership team
- Collaborate with Analytics to define telemetry needs, build hypotheses, and track KPIs surrounding live ops performance
- Ensure that monetization and retention designs align with Bungie’s and Marathon’s values
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience managing live operations or commerce systems in live service games
- Social intelligence, great interpersonal skills, and empathy for creative teams
- Proven business acumen with strategic and analytical capabilities, using data to inform decisions
- Good understanding of statistics, hypothesis testing, and scientific methods
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to lead cross-team initiatives across marketing, game development, and team leadership
- Experience motivating, leading, and inspiring highly skilled teams and team members
- Deep passion for games and ability to evaluate and break down the components of what makes a successful live game
