Job Description

As a Market Development Representative at Xplor, you will contribute to generating new business opportunities by identifying, qualifying, and engaging with potential customers. You will support the sales pipeline by setting up high-quality meetings for Account Executives and contribute to the overall success of the business development strategy. Your responsibilities include prospecting into target accounts through cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn outreach, qualifying leads based on their needs, budget, and decision-making authority. You will book meetings for Account Executives, maintain accurate lead data, refine messaging to improve conversion rates, and meet weekly/monthly KPIs. You will stay up to date on industry trends and product knowledge. This role involves remote work with the requirement of having eligible working rights and being in a time zone that has enough overlap to collaborate with the team.
Must have:
  • 7-10 years of sales experience in the embedded payment processing market
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting and handling rejection
  • Self-starter with high energy and a coachable attitude
Good to have:
  • Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools is a plus (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred

Reporting into the VP of Business Development and Sales, you will help us generate new business opportunities by identifying, qualifying, and engaging with potential customers. You will play a key role in supporting the sales pipeline by setting up high-quality meetings for our Account Executives and contributing to the overall success of the business development strategy. Some of the other responsibilities include: * Prospect into target accounts via cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn outreach * Qualify leads based on business needs, budget, and decision-making authority * Book meetings for Account Executives by clearly articulating our value proposition * Maintain accurate activity and lead data in our CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) * Continuously test and refine messaging to improve conversion rates * Meet or exceed weekly/monthly KPIs (calls, emails, meetings booked, etc.) * Stay up to date on industry trends and product knowledge - The average base salary pay range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000 Location: You can work fully remote in this position, provided you have eligible working rights, and you are in a time zone with enough overlap to collaborate with your team. #LI-Remote What would make me a good candidate?
