Key responsibilities include identifying new business growth opportunities, translating marketing strategies into actionable plans, utilizing marketing channels effectively, developing content, and reporting on KPIs. The ideal candidate should have strong digital marketing skills and an analytical mindset. The role is based in Dordrecht with a hybrid working model and a full-time, permanent contract.
Must have:
  • Manage marketing campaigns and projects.
  • Strong digital marketing experience in B2B.
Good to have:
  • Experience in STM sector
  • Strong teamwork skills.

We're looking for a Marketing Manager, B2B eBooks New Business & eCommerce to collaborate with our dynamic team on innovative campaigns and activities. Your efforts will drive growth for our eBooks, focusing on New Business and eCommerce aspects, with opportunities to expand into other product lines in the future.   We are looking for a results-driven individual with strong digital marketing skills and an analytical mindset. You should be adept at developing plans and executing marketing strategies that deliver measurable results. Your ability to analyze data and optimize campaigns will be crucial in driving our business forward.  As Marketing Manager, you will work closely with the B2B Institutional team, Sales Teams, Product Managers, Marketing Strategy leads and Marketing Data and Technology Teams to execute strategies that drive business growth. You will build strong relationships with Strategic Marketing Leads, Marketing Operations, Sales, Product Managers/Specialists, and other teams within Marketing Planning to ensure cohesive and impactful marketing efforts.  The Marketing Planning team within Research Marketing is dedicated to delivering effective and efficient tactical marketing programs that drive submissions and revenue. We focus on data-driven and automated strategies that are customer-centric, creative, and packed with value-added content. Our goal is to increase conversions, leverage the optimal channel mix for the best ROI, and support and strengthen our brand and product values.  Reporting to the Head of Institutional B2B Marketing, you will be an integral part of the Marketing Planning Institutional B2B team. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure our marketing efforts are impactful and aligned with our business objectives.  Responsibilities:
  • Identification and mapping of new business growth opportunities and market segments in collaboration with the Strategic Marketing Lead. 
  • Translating B2B marketing strategies into actionable and measurable marketing plans that drive lead generated revenue and B2B eCommerce revenue from new customers/audiences. 
  • Performance-driven utilization of the marketing channel mix and tactics, with a strong emphasis on automation and data-driven efficiency. 
  • Target-group-oriented development of content for campaigns and projects. 
  • Collaborate with other teams in Marketing Planning to streamline processes and create one overall marketing calendar.  
  • Ongoing reporting against revenue and set KPIs including definition of measurements and benchmarks for campaigns & programs and evaluation of performance. 
Experience, Skills & Qualifications 

Experience:

  • Proficient in managing marketing campaigns and projects focused on new business development. 
  • Solid experience in digital marketing, preferably in B2B.  
  • Experience in managing multiple assignments simultaneously, anticipating required activities/tasks, and working according to changing priorities and deadlines.  
  • Candidate should show proven, strong teamwork skills. 
  • Ability to partner with different levels and units throughout the organization.  
  • Flexibility and openness to innovative ideas. 
  • Comfortable to work to deadlines and within budget.  
  • Demonstrated ability to work in global environment.  
  • 3+ years marketing experience. STM sector experience is an advantage.

  • Strong competence in project management 
  • Strong analytical skills and high focus on performance and ROI  
  • Excellent digital marketing and customer-centric skill set 
  • Adaptability based on campaign performance, changing environments, and results monitoring 
  • Strong communication and collaboration capabilities 
  • Ability to work well in a matrix and cross functional team structure  
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills  
  • Positive attitude towards and actively driving change  
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or closely related field or equivalent professional experience. 

The position is offered in Dordrecht, based on a hybrid working model and a full-time, permanent contract.
