General Summary: 

Your role as Marketing Manager, Partner Marketing will see you drive subscriptions of Max through partner campaigns that deliver maximum awareness of our Max product. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Partner & Franchise Marketing for WBD ANZ’s Streaming & Networks division. As a team, we are responsible for strategizing and promoting brand and key content awareness on partner platforms to drive subscriber acquisition and retention. 

The Job: 

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Partner & Franchise Marketing ANZ, this role will oversee all MAX and linear channel partner marketing initiatives in ANZ. The Marketing Manager will identify and lead partner marketing efforts that inspire and bring viewers to Max via our partners platforms. In this role, you will be involved in campaign development and end-to-end campaign management of partner marketing campaigns. The role requires a balance of brand and business thinking to drive Max and linear channel’s key reach, subscriber & revenue goals, while driving pop culture moments for our brands and partners. 

The Daily:  

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to design a cohesive & customised partner marketing strategy with clearly defined measurable outcomes across subs, reach & earned media value. 

  • Execute the partner marketing strategy to bring audiences to Max and our linear channels in Australia & New Zealand.  Driving the partner marketing process, leading campaigns from start to finish with minimal supervision. 

  • Align content and brand strategies with partner marketing campaigns to achieve campaign objectives. Leverage partner owned platforms such as on-air, online, print, EDM, SMS, radio, social media, on-ground to amplify campaign reach and awareness.   

  • Deliver big ideas that breakthrough the competitive landscape and try new creative approaches with ideas grounded in strategy and insights. 

  • Work across multiple projects simultaneously, assist in tactical delivery of partner campaigns and creative deliverables to drive acquisition, activation, and engagement. 

  • Maintain share of voice in the market - drive acquisition, retention and increase subscriber engagement.  

  • Develop performance reports, establish benchmarks, and provide actionable plans and recommendations.  

  • Facilitate the development of campaign decks to communicate marketing strategies, and plans for partners and other stakeholders. 

  • Utilise global WBD assets or brief in and deliver campaign creative assets for partners.  

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of partner performance to shape partner marketing strategies and deliver data-driven recommendations and comprehensive post analysis documents. 

  • Work with internal comms team and partners to develop and implement strategic public relations activities to generate publicity. 

  • Evaluate training and incentive needs and develop programs that support partners.  

Essentials: 

  • 4+ years’ experience in marketing, ideally within an entertainment or partnerships marketing company. Familiar with the Australian media and partner’s landscape. 

  • Experienced and skilled in developing best in class multi-media partner marketing campaigns that are creatively compelling & customised to partners.  

  • Should have firm grasp on media planning across TV, digital, OOH, 1:1 comms, radio & social. 

  • Self-starter who brings campaigns to market, develops new practices, and is dedicated to analysing growth through metrics 

  • Able to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated.  

  • Operates with a high degree of common sense, accuracy and attention to detail. 

  • Ability to blend strategic vision with seamless and on point execution. 

  • Experienced in project management, able to manage multiple projects at a fast pace and are skilled at prioritizing. 

  • An adaptable team player able to work with colleagues across multiple locations and time zones and an ability to work collaboratively in a highly matrixed and international structure. 

  • Building strong relationships are your superpower 

  • Effective collaborator with strong stakeholder management skills and are comfortable working well under pressure with tight and changing deadlines 

  • Outstanding written, design and verbal presentation and communication skills.  

  • A genuine, enthusiastic, and passionate fan of entertainment, pop culture, new trends with excitement for WBD content and product.
