Job Description

As a senior engineer in the Delivery Operations team, you will develop and support Wind River’s delivery systems, initially focusing on an AWS Kubernetes-based application. Responsibilities include supporting both internal and external customers, requiring strong AWS full-stack development skills and customer support experience. This position will align with the Eastern time zone as much as possible, particularly in the first half of 2025.
Must have:
  • Experience with microservices architecture using Kubernetes and Docker.
  • 5+ years experience in Angular and backend like ExpressJS.
  • Strong experience/understanding of Kafka is a must.
  • Strong programming & scripting experience with various languages and frameworks.
  • Strong experience in databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis etc...
Good to have:
  • Good experience in cloud services such as AWS.
  • Moderate experience in DevOps tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab.
  • Knowledge of Lens or Terraform is a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of Agile principles.

About the Opportunity You will join the Delivery Operations team as a senior engineer, developing and supporting Wind River’s delivery systems. The initial focus will be learning to support an AWS Kubernetes-based application. Once that knowledge transfer is complete, you will develop and support future versions. Support includes working with both internal and external customers. The position requires strong AWS full-stack development skills, along with some experience with customer support. This position will train in alignment with the Eastern time zone as much as possible, especially in the first half of 2025. Desired Skills & Qualifications: Extensive experience with microservices architecture using Kubernetes, and Docker. 5+ years relevant experience in Angular and backend such as ExpressJS , NodeJS core modules. Strong experience/understanding of Kafka is a must have. Strong programming & scripting experience using TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS styling, Restful API services, Webhooks, Jasmine, Playwright testing frameworks etc. Strong experience in databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis etc... Good experience in cloud services such as AWS. Moderate experience in DevOps tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab. Knowledge of Lens or Terraform is a plus. Thorough understanding of Agile principles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional team player who works well in collaborative situations. Salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities of the applicant, and equity with other team members. Employees in this role are also eligible for the following benefits in accordance with the terms of the Company's plans: health, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, flex time off, eligibility to enroll in 401k, and 12 paid holidays.
