Summary

The Microfonista at Warner Bros. Discovery is responsible for the storage, transport, setup, connection, and preparation of microphones, booms, and other sound equipment both in studios and on location. Responsibilities include handling, securing, and maintaining sound materials and ensuring their proper operation before, during, and after shoots. The role requires at least one year of experience with sound equipment and a basic theoretical and practical understanding of sound systems in television broadcasting. The Microfonista must be familiar with the interplay between sound equipment and other aspects of television production to ensure smooth operation of all elements under their responsibility.
Must have:
  • 1+ year experience in sound equipment handling
  • Knowledge of sound equipment operation and maintenance
  • Understanding of TV sound systems and their integration
  • Ability to handle and transport sound equipment
  • Setup and connection of microphones and related equipment

Su nueva función

El microfonista tiene a su cargo las funciones de almacenamiento, traslado , tendido de lineas, colocacion, conexion y preparacion de los microfonos, boom, caña, corbateros, vinchas, entre otros, que forman el sistema de sonido, asi como sus accesorios, tanto en estudios como exteriores.

Responsabilidades de su puesto

  • Es responsable del desplazamiento, manejo, fijación y conservacion de los materiales de sonido, su operacion y su funcionamiento. (Tanto en el armado previo a una salida a exterior, o una salida, como al guardado post operación)

Cualificaciones y experiencia

  • Al menos 1 año de experiencia en el rol.

  • Debe tener conocimientos basicos, teoricos-practicos para asegurar el correcto funcionamiento, desplazamiento, conservacion y operacion de los equipos y aparatos de sonido a su cargo.
  • Debe estar iniciado en los conocimientos básicos del funcionamiento del sistema de sonido en televisión y su relación con las restantes funciones, para realizar correctamente todos los movimientos de los elementos a su cargo.
