Job Description

The Bank is seeking a Murex Back Office/MxML Consultant to join its expanding team and contribute to a new product onboarding program using the Murex Treasury platform. Responsibilities include transforming source data into Murex-compatible MxML format, creating MxML import/export workflows using MxML Exchange, documenting functional and technical specifications, producing exception reports, configuring Murex reports, building custom MxML Exchange tasks, and integrating with external systems. This role requires strong experience in Murex MxML, back-office processes, post-trade workflows (especially for structured products), and MxML Exchange. Proficiency in XML, XSLT, shell scripting, and SQL is essential.

Must have:

6-9 years Murex MxML & back-office experience
Murex architecture & post-trade workflow understanding
Structured product post-trade, confirmation & settlement workflow experience
MxML Exchange module (interfaces) experience in MX.3
Data dictionary formula development experience
External system integration with Murex experience
XML, XSLT, Shell scripts, SQL knowledge
Good communication & documentation skills

Project description

Bank is looking to expand Back office Murex team to work on new product onboarding program running on Murex Treasury platform

Responsibilities

Write transformation logic for source data format to Murex understandable format (MxML)

Create MxML import and export workflows using MXML Exchange

Document Functional, Technical Specification and Test Cases for integration

Produce exception reports for failures

Configure and Build Murex Reports for reports based interfaces

Build custom tasks in MxML Exchange for specific processing not available through standard task library

Skills

Must have

6-9 Years of experience in Murex MXML and back office domain

Good understanding of Murex architecture, Post trade workflows

Strong working experience on developing post trade, confirmation and settlement work flows on Structured products.

Good working knowledge of MxML Exchange module (interfaces) in MX.3

Experience in developing data dictionary formula

Experience in integrating standard external systems with Murex

XML, XSLT working experience

Good knowledge on Shell scripts, SQL

Good communication and documentation skills

Nice to have

Understanding of Trade Life Cycle
