Job Description

This role involves working on a large Australian company's FRTB program within their Murex development team. Responsibilities include requirement analysis for risk programs across various asset classes, understanding business needs, identifying solutions, and validating technical options. The role requires leading requirements workshops, documenting changes, liaising with the testing team, conducting impact analyses, and providing Level 3 support for production issues. Close collaboration with onshore DXC Luxoft and bank employees is essential.

Must have:

7+ years Murex BA experience with Risk configuration
Strong understanding of financial concepts & risk management
Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
Requirement analysis & solution validation
Documentation of changes and new components
Liaison with testing team & regression testing

Good to have:

Hedge Accounting Module of Murex
Functional solution design experience
Commodities experience
DevOps on Murex (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA)

Project description

We've been engaged by a large Australian company to provide resources to their Murex development team working on their FRTB program.

We require an experienced Murex Technical BA with strong knowledge of Murex and broad exposure to financial markets. You will be working in a team of Murex Developers on a variety off tasks.

You will be working closely with onshore DXC Luxoft and bank employees.

Responsibilities

Responsible for doing Requirement Analysis for bank priority programs in Risk space for various asset classes

Be responsible for understanding the business needs, identifying business solutions, and validating the pros and cons of technical solution options

Participate in and Lead requirements workshops, sometimes including a large number of business SMEs who are geographically distributed.

Providing full and comprehensive documentation of all changed and new components so that they can be successfully promoted from Development to UAT and ultimately into Production.

Liaising with Testing team to schedule and execute regression test processes, and to create new regression test scripts as directed

Plan and conduct impact analyses of functional changes

Providing Level three support to globally located Support Teams investigating Production system issues with the applications.

Skills

Must have

7+ Years of relevant Murex BA experience with Risk configuration experience, front office/ back office.

Significant understanding of financial concepts & risk management

Should be able to effectively provide technical, execution & operational guidance to various sub-functions

Have excellent communication skills, including the ability to discuss complex analytical ideas with non-technical colleagues in a meaningful way.

Demonstrate fantastic stakeholder management skills

Good IT and computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office

Domain Knowledge:

Should possess an understanding of financial markets

Basic knowledge of financial instruments such as Interest Rate Derivatives, Credit Derivatives, Currency Derivatives, Swaps, Futures, Options, FRA, FXMM, Fixed Income, etc.

Nice to have

Hedge Accounting Module of Murex

Functional solution design experience and start-to-end solution ownership

Experience with Commodities

DevOps on Murex experience (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA etc)
