About the role

The purpose of this role is to Lead the Net revenue management team to support commercial decision making and capability development across all GC BUs and at all levels. Partner with commercial leaders in various layers in the organization to drive results by providing solid data analytics and generate trending and insight for management teams to take actions.

  • Proactively drive NRM agenda and target achievement (incr.GP contributed by NRM), by working with cross functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Finance and other teams in CE, etc.) to identify and drive NRM opportunities through 5 strategic pillars – Pricing, PPA, Mix Management, Promo management and Trade investment management to achieve optimized financial flow-thru.
  • Be the focal point/owner of NRM governance process (including Pricing and G2N SOP and Trade spend management system) so that to drive higher spending efficiency and facilitate a healthier business growth from control/governance standpoint.

The role sits in Commercial Excellence team and reports to CE Head of GC.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with multi-functional teams to identify business opportunities to improve NRM management & GTN efficiency. Including pricing, mix & trade spending (G2N) through annual strategy plan by well leveraging NRM framework and all the assessment toolkits. Responsible for NRM KPI delivery (incr. NS & GP contribution as % of total NS growth on annual base)
  • Act as the owner of NRM & G2N process, coordinate and take the leading role on any process/system optimization & integration
  • Lead the design & deployment of NRM system/platform,, such as MLP (multi-level planning) and NRMA (net revenue  management analysis)
  • Improve the NRM capability of the organization through training, best practice sharing, etc.
  • Owner of shopper science lab, develop and enhance shopper insight through shopper research conduction, deployment, application, and furthermore to drive category management capabilities and practice in the organization.

Qualifications and skills

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree or above.
  • Languages: Fluent in spoken, written, listen and read English and Chinese.
  • Experience: 10 + years FMCG / Consumer goods industry or retail industry experience, with Net Revenue management (or RGM – revenue growth management in some companies), National trade marketing, Finance BP, Pricing, Business intelligence/insights.
  • Stronge cross functional communication skills.
  • Proactive and can-do attitude, drive to deliver.
  • In-depth data/information analytic skills.  
  • Mature leadership and people management skills.
  • Be able to navigate across key stakeholders with high engagement level. Feel comfortable and be able to perform in an agile way to move things forward.

Preferred

  • Strong intellectual curiosity, strong business sense, data analytical skills, as well as great project management capability with matured leadership style.
  • Deliberative, open minded, take initiative and have full responsibility & ownership on work.
  • Very familiar with how to create value for business from NRM standpoint and be able to think out of box, and brave to drive things forward from ambiguity.
