NVIDIA seeks a PCB Layout Manager to lead and manage a team of PCB layout engineers within the System Product Team. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams (hardware design, validation, manufacturing, mechanical and thermal engineering), defining and implementing best practices for PCB layout design, providing technical guidance and mentorship, coordinating with vendors, participating in strategic planning, and collaborating with global PCB layout teams. The ideal candidate possesses a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), 8+ years of relevant experience, 4+ years of team leadership experience, and proficiency in tools like Cadence Allegro. The role involves ensuring high-speed signal integrity, manufacturability, and successful project delivery for NVIDIA's advanced data center products.

Job Details

NVIDIA is searching for a PCB Layout Manager to expand the System Product Team. As a PCB Layout Manager at NVIDIA, you will be responsible for the design and development of complex printed circuit boards (PCBs) for all NVIDIA products. What you'll be doing:

  • Lead and manage a team of PCB layout engineers within the System Product Team.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware design, validation, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, and thermal engineering to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Define and implement best practices for PCB layout design, ensuring high-speed signal integrity and manufacturability.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.

  • Coordinate with external vendors and PCB fabrication partners to support project requirements.

  • Participate in strategic planning and roadmap discussions to support the long-term goals of the System Product Team.

  • Coordinate resources and collaborate with other PCB layout teams at NVIDIA worldwide to leverage expertise and ensure alignment on projects.

What we need to see:

  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience); advanced degree preferred.

  • 8+ years of overall relevant practical experience.

  • 4+ years of team leadership or management experience.

  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of successfully managing teams and projects.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on quality and reliability in PCB layout design.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex design issues.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Proficiency in PCB design tools such as Cadence Allegro.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to PCB layout and manufacturing processes.

The base salary range is 192,000 USD - 304,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
