We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Physical Build Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in product development and physical prototype coordination. With at least 5 years of relevant experience, they bring a proactive mindset and the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive results independently. A working knowledge of CAD/CREO and Bill of Materials (BOM) management is highly preferred.
Responsibilities;
Lead, plan, organize, and oversee physical build activities within product development projects.
Coordinate and follow up on build and test activities to align system requirements with physical test objects.
Ensure timely delivery of physical prototypes and parts that meet project specifications.
Collaborate closely with project teams and Product Manufacturing Engineers (PMEs) to secure successful project execution.
Define and manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risks to meet established objectives.
Serve as a liaison between engineering, manufacturing, and testing teams to streamline communication and workflow.
Provide project support on complex initiatives, reporting to a lead project manager as needed.
Maintain and manage Bill of Materials (BOM); support data integrity for builds.
Operate independently with limited supervision, making informed decisions and solving complex problems as they arise.
Qualifications;
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in physical build coordination or project management within a product development environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage full project lifecycle for builds and subprojects.
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Proficiency in project management methodologies; certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
Experience with CAD/CREO and BOM management is highly desirable.
Must be able to work fully onsite in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
