Job Description

The Practitioner Success Manager at Google's gTech Ads Platform will drive activation of Ads Platform objectives, partner with gTech teams to enable customer support (training, SOP creation, hotspot analysis), and generate insights for product improvements. Responsibilities include developing a gTech Ads services strategy, collaborating with leadership to achieve regional goals, prioritizing and designing goals/metrics, creating servicing plans for advertisers, and improving service strategies to adapt to product and metric changes. The role requires strong stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills, along with a deep understanding of Google Ads and the online/offline media landscape.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years in technical project management or customer-facing role
  • Stakeholder management, communication, product insights
  • Drive activation of Ads Platform objectives
  • Develop gTech Ads services strategy
Good to have:
  • Master's degree in relevant field
  • Business analysis, dashboard development
  • Technical troubleshooting/customer support
  • Google Ads knowledge, advertising solutions expertise

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, communication, and product insights.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in business analysis to conduct analytics, develop dashboards, and make recommendations.
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting or customer support with the ability to provide solutions.
  • Knowledge of Google Ads, advertising solutions and the media landscape online and offline.
  • Excellent consulting or business development skills with the ability to identify and prioritize business opportunities.

gTech Ads is responsible for all support and media and technical services for customers big and small across our entire Ad products stack. We help our customers get the most out of our Ad and Publisher products and guide them when they need help. We provide a range of services from enabling better self help and in-product support, to providing better support through interactions, setting up accounts and implementing ad campaigns, and providing media solutions for customers business and marketing needs and providing complex technical and measurement solutions along with consultative support for our large customers. These solutions range from bespoke and customized ones for our customers to scalable support for millions of customers worldwide. Based on the evolving needs of our ads customers, we partner with Sales, Product and Engineering teams within Google to develop better solutions, tools, and services to improve our products and enhance our client experience. As a cross-functional and global team, we ensure our customers get the best return on investment with Google and we remain a trusted partner.

The Product Practices teams within Enablement deliver quality, scale, and efficiency to how Google commercializes its ad products.

The Ads Platform (AP) team under the Mobile App Ads Formats (MAPP) vertical will work across gTech practitioners and product development teams to enable product priorities for Google Ads platform.

Responsibilities

  • Drive activation of Ads Platform objectives.
  • Partner with gTech teams to enable customer support activities like training, Standard Operating Procedure (SoP) creation, hotspot analysis.
  • Generate insights for product improvements to drive resolution of issue.
  • Develop a gTech Ads services strategy in partnership with leadership and gSO team to assist in achieving regional goals including Business Forecast Meetings (BFMs). Help in prioritization and designing the right goals and metrics analyzing the existing headroom.
  • Create and maintain servicing plans for advertisers considering all stakeholders and partner workforce. Work on improvement of services strategy to adopt any changes in the products and metrics.
