The role we are offering you:
- Responsible to install software, conduct data migration, setup integration.
- Create Business Plans/supports (including business cases) to assure plans meet company goals and integrates these with technical programs and project plans.
- Work on high value (revenue) projects with large scale customer impact and able to operate under limited direction and minimal oversight.
- Solve complex business problems using differing technologies and systems views across multiple functional domains (within company and between company and its customer) on high profile and/or mission critical efforts and projects.
- Provide strategic direction and plan strategically for current and future business environments, including future technology and business design changes to create flexible solutions.
- Provides functional/technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
- Serve as lead conduit between developers, architects, designers and with external and internal customers.
- Support development staff by assisting with functionality questions, addressing testing issues, training on new products and all delivery planning aspects for deployment of a service or product, as assigned.
- Provides guidance and direction to less experienced business systems analysts.
Our ideal candidate has:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 10+ years related experience.
- Crew Planning, Schedule, Tracking and crew Rules expertise is preferred.
- iLog rules expertise required.
- Knowledge and experience of programming languages e.g. Java, Python, C++.
- Hands-on to write code to automate manual work using programming languages mentioned above, or automation through macros (VB etc.).
- Hands-on in installing and configuring enterprise level applications on AWS servers.
- DB experience Oracle or MongoDB.
- Knowledge and experience in writing DB queries using SQL or PL/SQL.
- Knowledge on integration e.g. SOAP, XML, JSON, Postman.
- Experience on using Microsoft Office esp. Excel (writing Macros is a plus), PowerPoint.
- Hands on experience/expertise in the Crew Management area – either worked in airline in scheduling, training, tracking or the end-to-end implementation of crew enterprise systems is a plus.
- Advanced computer software skills.
- Requires understanding client-server architectures and the integration with legacy systems.
- Strong domain knowledge in Airline crew scheduling, flight crew planning, or flight operations is desired.
