The Customer Delivery team is rapidly scaling and is looking for a Technical Consultant to design, implement, and support client solutions. The responsibilities include collaborating with clients, acting as a liaison, supporting client teams, training users, and handling system installations. The job requires working with Java-based solutions, configuring systems, meeting technical requirements, and integrating APIs. The role involves both technical and client-facing responsibilities, ensuring successful solution delivery and customer satisfaction.

About the team:

The Customer Delivery team is scaling rapidly due to increased client wins and demand. We are seeking a Technical Consultant with relevant work experience in the capital markets or at a financial software company. You will be part of a team of consultants who will be designing, implementing, and supporting the solution for the client. You will act as a key player in the successful delivery of clients' solutions.

Typical Technical Analyst Day:

  • Follow up on pending items (Jira).
  • Meetings with clients (requirements gathering, support, demonstration, training).
  • Design/Implementation of the solution: Configuration and customization (custom code, messaging, and reporting templates).
  • People development: eLearning, documentation, presentations, certifications.
  • Defining and improving standard processes.

Your responsibilities:

  • Collaborate directly with clients to implement, test, and validate Java-based solutions through to go-live.
  • Act as a liaison between Customer Delivery, R&D, and the Calypso Cloud Team.
  • Support client teams in configuring systems, meeting technical requirements, and integrating APIs.
  • Train users and developers on system setup and usage.
  • Handle system installations, including Java environments, databases, and real-time data feeds.
  • Prototype improvements in collaboration with business analysts and developers.

  • Customer service experience, client-oriented attitude.
  • Hands-on experience in Java.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL.
  • Knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL or Oracle.
  • Ability to work independently, handle time effectively, and self-learn via eLearning tools.
  • Business-level English.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, RMI, J2EE, Spring Boot, Docker, and containers (considered a plus).
  • Experience with full trading system design (considered a strong advantage).
