Job Description

As a Junior Gameplay Programmer, you'll contribute to the development of popular mobile games like Cooking Fever, Pocket Styler, and Airplane Chefs. You'll be responsible for writing high-quality code, squashing bugs, collaborating with other team members, and constantly learning and growing. Your work will directly impact the experience of millions of players around the world.

Must have:

Proficiency in C/C++
Experience with Unity engine and C#
Knowledge of Visual Studio and debugging tools
Understanding of KISS, DRY, YAGNI principles
Solid math and geometry skills
Experience with Jira, Git
Good English language skills

Good to have:

Passion for video games
Curiosity about game development
Android/iOS experience
3D programming knowledge
Optimization skills
Java, JavaScript, Objective-C, Typescript
Database knowledge (MongoDB, Redis)
Computer graphics rendering understanding
Networking experience
Physics fundamentals
Personal projects

Your Key Responsibilities:

Developing high-quality code in games that thousands of people play daily;
Eradicating bugs;
Collaborating with other team members (other programmers, game designers, artists, QA);
Learning and growing as a Game Developer.

A Successful Candidate Must Have:

Proficiency in C/C++;
Experience with Unity engine and C#;
Knowledge of Visual Studio and its debugging tools;
Grasp of KISS, DRY, YAGNI principles;
Solid skills in math and geometry;
Knowledge of the principles of work via Jira, Git, etc.;
Good English language skills.

Extra Great to Have:

Passion for video games;
Curiosity – desire to understand how the games are built and improve them;
Experience with Android and/or iOS;
Knowledge of 3D programming;
Experience in optimizations;
Knowledge of one of the programming languages – Java, JavaScript, Objective-C, Typescript;
Familiarity with databases (MongoDb, Redis);
Understanding of computer graphics rendering;
Familiarity with networking;
Fundamentals of physics;
Personal projects.

Salary: From 1600 EUR/month (gross)
