As a Product Lifecycle Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. Enable the cross-functional leadership for product life-cycle management to deliver product roadmap health, supply continuity, and resilience. Manage product portfolio changes and transitions, identify and mitigate risks, resolve product related issues throughout the entire life-cycle. Plan and execute second source qualification activities and ensure transition to production within cost, quality, and capacity parameters, and ensure production transitions meet program goals.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience managing projects.
  • Experience with supply chain operations in asset management, manufacturing, procurement, commodity management, or supplier management.
  • Ability to communicate project requirements and schedules.
  • Excellent leadership, investigative, quantitative reasoning, problem-solving, creativity and strategic skills.
Good to have:
  • MBA or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Operations Engineering or other relevant field.
  • Experience in multiple aspects of hardware operations.
  • Knowledge of hardware Bill of Materials (BOMs), process documentation and assembly and test processes.

Minimum qualifications:
