With the advent of the 5G era, the cloud-based V2X brings exciting new possibilities. An electric vehicle is not only a computer with four wheels, but also a mobile data center! It is estimated that by 2030, there will be 700 million "connected cars" globally and 90 million self-driving cars! This presents new challenges and security risks.

Under the waves of electric vehicles trend, all electric vehicle component suppliers who want to sell products will have to obtain cybersecurity-related certifications. VicOne (a subsidiary of Trend Micro) aims to assist those who want to enter the electric vehicle industry to establish cybersecurity certification standards. Taipei, Taiwan, with global responsibilities. Travel may be required based on business needs.

[Main Responsibilities]

Financial Strategy and Planning:

◆ Develop and implement the overall financial strategy for the group, supporting business growth in international markets.

◆ Participate in financial decision-making processes, lead financial planning analysis and risk assessments, and assist management in decision-making.

◆ Contribute to fundraising and investment strategies, ensuring the company has sufficient resources to support growth.

Financial Operations and Compliance:

◆ Oversee financial operations in different regions, ensuring compliance and accuracy, and achieving the group’s financial goals.

◆ Ensure financial reporting complies with local and international accounting standards and reflects the company’s operational results.

◆ Optimize financial management systems and processes to enhance capital efficiency.

◆ Coordinate capital operation plans, ensuring proper allocation and security.

◆ Maintain good relationships with financial institutions and assist in financing and investment matters.

◆ Develop tax planning strategies to minimize risks and tax costs.

Internal Collaboration and External Communication:

◆ Work closely with operations and business teams, providing data-driven financial analysis and advice to support business decision-making.

◆ Manage the external audit process and maintain communication with external auditors and stakeholders to ensure audit compliance.

◆ Manage and coordinate with the external financial consultant for developing the proper business solutions for decision making.

[Job Qualifications]

Educational Background

◆ Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields. CPA or CFA certification is preferred.

Work Experience

◆ Qualified as a financial supervisor for multi-national companies.

◆ At least 10 years of experience in financial accounting or related fields, with 3+ years of experience in a similar position preferred.

◆ Proven experience in multinational management is a plus.

◆ Experience with one of the Big Four accounting firms (3+ years) is a plus.

◆ Experience in multinational, startup, or technology companies is a plus.

Language Skills

◆ Proficient in both Chinese and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Professional Skills

◆ Deep understanding of financial statements, corporate finance, and capital markets, with strong financial acumen.

◆ Familiarity with domestic and international financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax policies.

◆ Expertise in capital management, risk control, and financial analysis, with strong budgeting and reporting skills.

◆ Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with internal and external stakeholders.

◆ Strategic thinking, able to operate flexibly in a fast-paced environment and support operational decision-making.
