This contract position reports to the Brand Finance Director and supports the North American Brand Finance Team. Responsibilities include maintaining and analyzing price lists in SAP, supporting the price list process for Spring/Fall lines, partnering with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, internal audit) to ensure accuracy, updating and maintaining financial forecast models (e.g., Toy Line Plan), producing sales and profitability reports, assisting in scrutinizing product cost drivers, providing financial forecasts for new products and merchandising displays for VCA/CEA processes, providing forecast updates with variance analysis, and conducting ad-hoc analysis. Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups) and other MS Office programs is required.

What will you work on?


This position will report to the Brand Finance Director and will be responsible for supporting the North American Brand Finance Team. Key responsibilities include maintaining and analyzing price lists, maintaining brand finance forecast models, analyzing profitability of potential new products, and providing sales and profitability reporting to cross-functional teams. This is a contract opportunity

How will you create impact?

  • Monitor, update, analyze, and assist in developing price lists
  • Help coordinate the price list process for the Spring Fall lines for the North American sales markets
  • Enter and maintain price list data in SAP.
  • Partner with marketing, sales teams, and internal auditors to ensure price lists are updated and correct.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to update, maintain, and assist them with their financial forecast models – e.g. the Toy Line Plan (TLP)
  • Produce sales and profitability reports for brand finance and cross-functional teams.
  • Assist brand finance in scrutinizing and updating key product cost drivers used in financial forecast models.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial forecasts for new products and merchandising displays for the Vendor Cost Approval (VCA) and Capital Expense Approval (CEA) processes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams if the analysis for VCA/CEA is under corporate thresholds to provide the rationale.
  • Provide forecast updates including variance analysis with commentary and explanation for significant variances.
  • Partner with IT and/or finance team to assist in implementing continuous enhancements of financial systems as required by the organization.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support the brand finance team.


What are your skills and experience?

  • High proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, etc) and other MS Office programs.
  • Demonstrated business partnership building.
  • 0-2 years of post-qualification related experience in a financial business support / commercial finance / Financial planning and analysis role an asset.
  • Knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting
