Job Description

As a Program Manager II at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects related to demand and supply planning for technical infrastructure. You'll work with cross-functional teams, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate effectively. Responsibilities include contributing to demand/supply management policies, evaluating the supply chain's ability to meet customer demand, reviewing supply/demand risks, and presenting recommendations to leadership. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to resolve supply chain issues and ensure clear communication with all stakeholders. A strong background in data analytics, forecasting, and problem-solving is essential.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years program/project management experience
  • Demand/supply planning and data analytics experience

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience with demand/supply planning and data analytics.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with the tools and elements of project management and leading cross-functional process improvements.
  • Experience in data modeling, trend analysis, statistics, forecasting, or business insights, with excellent problem solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence across multiple levels of an organization, and a demonstrated sense of accountability and ownership for project life-cycle.
  • Ability to comfortably shift between detailed analysis and big picture thinking and customizing communication based on the audience.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and communicate policies/methodologies for demand/supply management.
  • Utilize best practices for evaluating the supply chain’s ability to meet customer demand.
  • Contribute to demand and supply planning meetings with cross functional teams. Review supply/demand risks, mitigation options, and service level goals.
  • Present demand/supply recommendations with sound models and logic to leadership, drive timely decisions, and ensure clear and concise communication to all stakeholders in the supply chain.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and drive resolution of supply chain exceptions/escalations in a timely manner.
