Forescout is seeking a highly motivated QA engineer to join their R&D team. The role involves being an integral part of the software development process, focusing on automation to deliver high-quality cloud products. The engineer will develop and maintain automated scripts, create test plans and cases, improve test frameworks, report defects, and educate the team. This position requires exceptional testing skills and attention to detail within an Agile/Scrum environment. The candidate should have experience with cloud-based products and at least one scripting language.
Must have:
- 5+ years of QA automation experience.
- Technical degree in computer science or related field.
- Experience with SaaS applications.
- Proficient in at least one programming language.
- Experience with automation tools and frameworks.
- Ability to set up and deploy test environments.
- Experience testing with a leading cloud vendor.

What You Will Do
Forescout is currently seeking a highly motivated QA engineer to join our growing R&D team. We are looking for someone who can be an integral part of the software development process and is passionate about automation. With your exceptional testing skills and attention to detail you can help us deliver high quality cloud products to our customers. You will also play a key role in scaling automation tests, build the foundation for new test strategies, adopting it into our Agile/Scrum environment as the cornerstone of our continuous delivery product cycle. The ideal candidate should have experience working with cloud-based products, be comfortable with at least one scripting language and demonstrate proactiveness to fill in the gaps when required.
- Develop/maintain automated scripts for testing front and backend cloud applications
- Create well-structured test plans and test cases to ensure product quality based on requirements documents and real-life example case uses
- Improve and scale our internal test frameworks for acceptance, performance, and load tests
- Report defects in JIRA in a clear and concise manner to support the team in troubleshooting
- Educate team on how to use the tools and frameworks developed
What You Bring To Forescout
- 5+ years of hands-on experience working on QA automation or development teams
- Technical bachelor's or master's degree required in computer science, software engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Excellent multi-year experience in a QA role for SaaS applications with understanding how to reliably release frequently using containerization technology like Docker or Kubernetes
- Proficient in at least one programming language (Python, Java, etc.)
- Experience working with automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, JMeter, Postman, TestNG, etc.)
- Ability to set up and deploy test environments using various tools including virtual machines (VMs)
- Experience testing with a leading cloud vendor (Azure, GCP, or AWS)
- Understanding of networking and network security is a plus
