Who and why are we hiring?

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our software products are delivered with the highest quality standards, by conducting thorough tests and identifying and reporting issues. The QA Tester will work closely with the development team to ensure that all bugs and issues are fixed in a timely manner.

Location: Remote

Core tasks are expected to include:

• Develop and execute manual test cases, scenarios and scripts to ensure that software products meet quality standards and requirements
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using issue tracking tools
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Design and implement automation tests and strategy
• Collaborate with all tech team to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that software products meet design specifications and are functional, reliable and scalable
• Participate in development processes
• Maintain and improve the existing test plans, testing processes, and test cases, ensuring that all documentation, including test plans and test cases, are up-to-date and accurate
• Proactively identify and communicate potential risks to the development team and management
  
  
  

Requirements and skills:

• Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• QA training and/or certification (e.g. ISTQB) is a plus
• Proven experience in software QA testing (>3 years)
• Good spoken and written English language; any additional language is a highly appreciated (Portuguese, p.e)
• Strong working knowledge of test management softwares (e.g. JIRA, qTest, Zephyr, etc.) and project management
• Solid experience with manual testing and knowledge of test automation fundamentals, and scripting languages
• Detail and Excellence obsessed, with a curious attitude and critical thinking
• Highly organized and a problem finder and solver
• Resilience and startup fast-paced endurance
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

• Fully remote - not expected to exist even for a hybrid model
• Paid 24 days/year of absence for vacations
