Project Manager (Middle/Senior)

The Project Manager will lead and oversee complex projects within the Data and Analytics department of a large pharmaceutical company. This role requires a blend of project management skills and Agile methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution:
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring all project goals are met.

Scrum Master Duties:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives).
• Coach team members on Agile practices and principles to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
• Remove impediments and obstacles that hinder the team's progress.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project alignment.
•  Manage expectations and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Risk and Issue Management:

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Develop contingency plans and proactively address potential project challenges.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and team performance.
• Implement best practices in project management and Agile methodologies.
• Monitor and evaluate project performance, providing recommendations for process enhancements.

Skills and Competencies:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management, nice to have experience with a projects that focus on data and analytics
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and risk management.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools: Jira, Confluence.
• Ability to manage multiple teams across different locations simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of the System and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) management process.
• Knowledge of software design, development, testing, and delivery methodologies.

Additional Requirements

Certifications:

• PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is required.

Technical Skills (not mandatory but preferably):

• Familiarity with data analytics tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, PowerBI, Palantir Foundry).
• Understanding of data management principles and practices.
