Job Summary:

Taction Software is seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer with 2.5 to 5 years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and users, developing server-side logic, maintaining the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails

Build efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code

Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic

Design and implement RESTful APIs

Work closely with product managers and design teams to build intuitive user experiences

Optimize application performance, scalability, and security

Participate in code reviews and agile development practices

Required Skills and Qualifications:

2.5 - 5 years of experience working with Ruby on Rails

Strong knowledge of Ruby and Rails best practices

Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases

Proficient understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

Experience with RESTful APIs and version control tools like Git

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies

Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices

Exposure to Agile methodologies
