Join us for a 2025 paid internship where you will grow your skills for the road that lies ahead. Our program starts on June 9th and will run for 10 weeks, concluding on August 15th.

The Position:

​​GameChanger is looking for a Security Analyst Intern to join our Information Security team this summer. This internship offers hands-on experience in risk management, compliance assessments, and regulatory frameworks and is for people with an interest in cybersecurity governance.

What You'll Do:

• Compliance Oversight: Ensure ongoing compliance with industry regulations, including NIST CSF.

• Risk Management: Support in identifying and documenting security risks, ensuring risk management practices are in place to protect GameChanger’s assets.

• GRC Tool Usage: Learn to use Vanta to manage ongoing compliance with frameworks, assist with evidence collection, and maintain the risk register.

• Security Awareness & Training: Help create security awareness materials, track employee compliance with training, and support security best practices enforcement.

• Security Operations Exposure: Gain hands-on experience with security event monitoring, vulnerability scanning, and basic incident response.

• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with teams to support security governance efforts and align security requirements with compliance frameworks.

• Mentorship & Learning: Work with a GRC Security Analyst mentor, attend security team stand-ups, governance reviews, and security operations discussions.

Who You Are:

• You are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or looking to make a career change.

• Knowledge of NIST CSF cybersecurity frameworks and risk management principles.

• Ability to document and track risk and compliance activities.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders across different teams.

• Interest in both governance and security operations, with a willingness to learn and gain hands-on experience.
