The Position:
We are looking for a IT Support Analyst (Contractor) to join our lean, IT team. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for IT-related requests and incidents, providing both in-person and virtual support to employees across the organization. This position requires a strong technical foundation, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced hybrid environment.
The ideal candidate will have deep familiarity with our core technologies — including Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Notion — and be comfortable managing device fleets, troubleshooting AV setups, and ensuring seamless onboarding and offboarding experiences. You will report directly to the IT Manager and collaborate regularly with People Operations and Information Security stakeholders. This position is based in New York City and requires working onsite at our Manhattan office 3–4 days per week.
What You'll Do:
Serve as the first line of support for incoming IT requests through Jira Service Management, resolving 25–50 tickets weekly across systems, access, hardware, and user support
Manage the employee lifecycle by provisioning/deprovisioning user accounts and equipment using Okta, Google Workspace, and Jamf MDM
Prepare new hire equipment and lead Day 1 onboarding sessions in collaboration with PeopleOps and WorkPlace
Support hybrid workplace infrastructure, including Zoom Workspace, Google Meets, AV Poly & Crestron equipment, and shared office hardware
Contribute to improvements in automation, provisioning, and operational workflows using tools such as Okta Workflows, BetterCloud, Slack Workflows, or Zapier
Improve internal documentation and IT process to enhance the teammate experience.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver strategic IT solutions and uphold best practices.
Adhere to ITIL-based support practices and assist with compliance, audit, or SLA tracking initiatives as needed
Who You Are:
4+ years of direct experience in IT support, with a focus on hybrid or high-growth environments
Demonstrated expertise with Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Notion, and Okta administration
Advanced knowledge of Okta, including integrating and managing services within the Okta Integration Network.
Strong familiarity with productivity and communication tools like Zoom and Slack.
Proven ability to support executive-level and VIP users
Strong troubleshooting and support experience for Mac OS, Google Workspace, including familiarity with JAMF, or similar MDM solutions
Nice to Have:
Familiar with automation tools such as Okta Workflows, BetterCloud, Slack Workflow Builder or Zapier.
Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) certification.
Experience with JAMF or similar MDM platforms.
Previous experience supporting hybrid environments with both remote and in-office teams.
The target hourly rate for this contract position is between $35 and $55 an hour.
