Senior 2D Animator

This Senior 2D Animator position is a specialised role that will report to our Animation Lead and work closely with the Associate Art Director, producing animations for branded versions of our existing games as well as producing entirely new animations for bespoke client games. When required, this animator may also be asked to work on our other standard library games.

What will you be responsible for?

• Researching and understanding our clients and their brands to better meet their needs and expectations
• Creating game animations for assets such as:
• Symbols
• Backgrounds
• Characters
• UI elements
• Pop-up banners
• Working in a wide range of animation styles including cartoon, realistic and stylised
• Creating high quality effects and animations optimised for mobile performance
• Preparing final animations for delivery to the development team
• Brainstorming and collaboration with the greater team
  

What do we expect from our perfect candidate?

• Highly proficient in working with industry standard tools:
• Esoteric Spine
• Adobe Photoshop
• Strong professional level of English
• At least 3 years of experience in the games industry (gambling or non-gambling games, either is good)
• Solid portfolio showcasing game animations
• Strong understanding of animation principles
• Good understanding of optimisation techniques for mobile devices
• The ability to receive feedback well and implement changes, offer feedback and work collaboratively
• Resourceful and takes the initiative
• Great teamwork, communication, and self-development skills
