Job Description

The Senior Data Engineer will work closely with Business Analysts to translate data requirements into efficient solutions. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines. The role demands expertise in SQL, data modeling, Snowflake, Python (or other programming languages), and containerization technologies (like Kubernetes). Ensuring data integrity, optimizing workflows, creating data models, and analyzing data flow are key responsibilities. The candidate must have 5+ years of experience and possess strong analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities. Proficiency in PowerBI is a plus. The fortune 500 company and a bigger car safety systems manufacturer is looking for Senior Data Engineer to join their team.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in data engineering;
Expertise in SQL for data querying and manipulations;
Expertise in Data Modeling;
Experience with Snowflake;
Proficiency in Python or other programming languages;
Hands-on experience with cloud services;
Proficiency in containerization technologies (e.g. Kubernetes);
Effective problem-solving and analytical skills, coupled with excellent; communication and collaboration abilities;
Strong communication and teamwork abilities;
Strong mathematical, statistical, and algorithmic skills;
Experience with PowerBI will be a plus.
Upper-Intermediate English level or higher;
Ukrainian language Advanced or higher.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with Business Analyst to align data solutions with business needs;
Gather and translate data requirements into robust and efficient solutions, leveraging your expertise;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, and design, implement and maintain scalable data pipelines;
Ensure end-to-end data integrity and optimize workflows;
Create data models, schemas, and flow diagrams to guide development;
Analyze Data flow and structure;
Assist in integration with Snowflake.
