Job Description

Papaya, a fast-growing mobile game company, seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to build a high-scale backend platform for millions of users. Responsibilities include leading end-to-end solutions from requirements to production, writing high-quality, well-architected systems, experimenting with new technologies, and mentoring team members. The ideal candidate possesses 4+ years of DevOps experience, a B.Sc. in Computer Science, and expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, ArgoCD/Rollouts, Node.js/Typescript/Python, Terraform, and Helm. The role involves designing systems to decrease time-to-market and utilizing cutting-edge technology.

Must have:

4+ years DevOps experience
BSc in Computer Science
AWS, Kubernetes expertise
NodeJS/Typescript/Python proficiency
Lead end-to-end solutions
High-quality system design

Description

Papaya is a TLV-based mobile games with one of the fastest growth rates in the market and millions of players worldwide. Our team of passionate engineers is building a unique, innovative tournament platform used by numerous popular games.

We’re looking for a Senior Devops Engineer who’s eager to become one of our pioneering core team members and establish themselves as a significant building block of our products and company at this critical point in time before we reach greater heights.

Responsibilities

Build a high-scale backend platform for millions of users.
Lead end-to-end solutions from requirements to production with a design that decreases the time-to-market.
Write high-quality well architectured systems following industry best practices and standards.
Experiment with new technologies, tools, and 3rd party frameworks. Utilize them to deliver state-of-the-art tech.
Mentor new members of the team.
Tech stack: AWS, Kubernetes, ArgoCD/Rollouts, NodeJs/Typescript/Python, Terraform, Helm.

Requirements

4+ years as DevOps Engineer (or equal role).
B.Sc. in Computer Science (or equivalent).
Hands-on experience in cloud architecture and relevant tools.
Proficiency in a major development/scripting language.
Autodidactic learner, passionate for learning new technologies, best practices, and industry trends.
Can-do approach.
