Lead Devops Engineer - India
Job Summary
Job Description
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud IAM.
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Deployment Manager, or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps, Github Actions.
- Experience managing and mentoring a small team of DevOps engineers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Google Cloud Certification (e.g., Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect).
- Experience with other cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of other container orchestration platforms such as Docker Swarm or Amazon ECS.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Docker .

About the Opportunity:
The Lead DevOps Engineer is a key leadership position within our Platform Engineering Team. This role involves developing and enhancing CICD Pipelines, tools, conducting advanced system performance analyses/architecture discussion, and defining DevOps Standards. Your extensive experience in software development, platform, and systems engineering will guide strategic initiatives, complex project management, and innovative solution development.
As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you must demonstrate mastery in software, systems, and platform engineering. You are responsible for ensuring our digital platforms' resilience and cutting-edge performance. Your expertise will be crucial in driving the adoption of advanced practices, leading the path toward emerging technological trends, and mentoring the next generation of DevOps professionals.
