Job Description

MADFINGER Games is looking for a Build Engineer to design, implement, and maintain their CI/CD pipelines, improve developer tools, and ensure build quality. You will be responsible for establishing and improving the CI/CD system, guaranteeing the availability of ready-to-deploy builds and binaries, handling troubleshooting of build issues, and implementing tools to boost developer productivity. You will also participate in knowledge sharing and other initiatives to maintain excellent technical knowledge.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Build Engineer on titles for PC/consoles
  • Shipped at least one premium title in Unreal Engine
  • Experience with TeamCity, Horde, or equivalent build system
  • Skilled with Perforce or equivalent SCM
  • Proficient communication in English
  • Very high standard of communication skills and teamwork
  • Hopelessly excited about online multiplayer games
Good to have:
  • Experience with Unreal Game Sync (UGS), BuildGraph, Horde, Unreal Insight, or Gauntlet
  • Proficiency in Steamworks

Gray Zone Warfare has been under development in our bustling offices for over two years. Our team is searching for a new Build Engineer. In this position, you will design, implement, and maintain our CI/CD pipelines, improve tools used by developers to increase their productivity, and ensure the build quality. With your knowledge of pipeline automation and your passion for multiplayer gaming, you will have the potential to make the development team thrive and contribute to delivering a top-notch gaming experience.



WHAT IS YOUR MISSION?

  • Establishing and improving the CI/CD system to ensure consistent builds and later releases.
  • Guaranteeing the availability of ready-to-deploy builds and binaries for all platforms.
  • Establishing and improving the tooling of our pipelines to ensure an efficient work environment for developers.
  • Handling troubleshooting of build issues.
  • Implementing and integrating tools and applications that boost the programmers' productivity.
  • Participating in knowledge sharing and other initiatives that aim to maintain excellent technical knowledge.



WHO WILL FIT IN WITH US?

  • 3+ years of work experience as a Build Engineer on titles for PC/consoles.
  • Shipped at least one premium title in Unreal Engine.
  • Experience with TeamCity, Horde, or equivalent build system.
  • Skilled with Perforce or equivalent SCM.
  • Proficient communication in English.
  • Very high standard of communication skills and teamwork.
  • You are hopelessly excited about online multiplayer games.
  • Experience with Unreal Game Sync (UGS), BuildGraph, Horde, Unreal Insight, or Gauntlet is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Steamworks is a plus.
