Senior Hardware Engineer, Control Electronics, Quantum AI

This role involves contributing to the design, implementation, and deployment of control and measurement systems for next-generation quantum computers. As a Senior Hardware Engineer in the quantum electronics team, you'll collaborate with FPGA designers and other hardware engineers to create systems for the readout and control of scaled quantum processors. Responsibilities include developing an understanding of quantum computer electronic needs, owning and implementing RF or mixed-signal systems (moderate to high complexity), characterizing implemented systems, and deploying these systems into Google's quantum computers. You will participate in project roadmapping and support the ongoing operations of electronics within Google's quantum computer fleet. The role requires experience in analog, digital, or mixed-signal design and familiarity with PCB design tools.
