JustPlay seeks a Senior Marketing Data Analyst to build a reliable foundation for user acquisition data and help the UA team achieve company goals. Responsibilities include measuring marketing campaign performance, building custom reports, analyzing trends, developing dashboards (Looker), designing A/B tests, implementing UA automation processes, revising CPE targeting strategies, managing MMP tools (Adjust), collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring data accuracy. The role requires deep data analysis, identifying growth opportunities, and working on process automation. Strong knowledge of app attribution tools and mobile marketing channels is crucial. This position requires proficiency in SQL, Python, data visualization tools, cloud platforms (BigQuery, AWS, Snowflake), and APIs.

Must have:

We launched JustPlay in the US in 2020, and now our product is one of the leading loyalty rewards apps in the world. Our team is based in 19+ countries and our headquarters is in Berlin, Germany.

JustPlay is looking for an experienced Marketing Data Analyst. The Senior Marketing Data Analyst plays a key role in building a reliable foundation for user acquisition data and helping the UA team achieve company goals. This role involves validating and analyzing the results of user acquisition efforts and providing valuable insights to improve performance. We expect you to lead in deep data analysis, identify growth opportunities, and work on process automation.

Job responsibilities

Measure the performance of marketing campaigns alongside UA managers, build ad hoc custom reports, and analyze anomalies and trends.
Develop and maintain data visualization dashboards (Looker).
Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests and experiments to optimize campaign performance
Design and implement UA automation processes, work closely with various API Management tools, automate alert and reporting.
Research and revise the CPE targeting strategy for UA channels, and design the event implementation flow within our apps.
Manage MMP tools (Adjust), and provide technical support and troubleshooting for the marketing team, specifically related to app attribution, event tracking, and callback implementations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment between all data sources.

The experience we hope you bring to JustPlay

You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
You have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a similar role.
You have proficiency with data analysis tools and programming languages, such as SQL, Python, etc. and data visualization tools (Looker, Metabase, Tableau)
You have experience working with cloud platforms (BigQuery, AWS, Snowflake) and APIs to automate marketing workflows, integrate data sources, and enhance reporting efficiency.
You are familiar with statistical methods and modeling, including regression, cohort analysis, and clustering, to enhance marketing analysis and forecasting efforts.
You have a strong knowledge of app attribution tools and concrete experience with major mobile marketing channels (Meta, Applovin, Google Ads, Unity, etc.).
You have experience with setting up and managing event tracking in mobile apps. Especially with a focus on SKAN, Firebase etc.
You have in-depth understanding of digital marketing strategies including down funnel analysis, as well as technical knowledge of iOS and Android marketing analysis to tailor strategies for both platforms
You are an excellent communication skills to present findings and collaborate with non-technical stakeholders, as well as the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
