The candidate will be involved in developing, testing, and deploying applications using .NET and related technologies and will also provide technical training.

  • Hands-on experience with Azure, SharePoint, and Dynamics 365.
  • Extensive experience with .NET and C#.
Good to have:
  • Familiarity with React for front-end development.

Synechron is seeking a highly experienced Senior .NET Developer to lead the design, development, and support of robust Microsoft-based solutions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement enterprise-grade applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and security. The successful candidate will act as a key technical resource, delivering innovative solutions aligned with client needs, and maintaining high standards of quality and best practices within the Microsoft technology ecosystem.

Software Requirements:

  • Required:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Deep understanding of Windows OS and Windows Server environments
    • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, and Dynamics 365
    • Extensive experience with the .NET framework and C# programming language
  • Preferred:
    • Familiarity with React for front-end development
    • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation tools

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Microsoft technology solutions, providing technical guidance, support, and consultative services.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand their business requirements and recommend appropriate Microsoft-based solutions.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft systems, applications, and hardware components.
  • Lead implementation efforts for new solutions, ensuring smooth deployment and integration.
  • Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and optimization of Microsoft services and applications.
  • Contribute to technical planning, project delivery, and process improvement initiatives.

Technical Skills (By Category):

  • Programming Languages:
    • Essential: C# (.NET Core, Web API, MVC), SQL
    • Preferred: JavaScript/TypeScript (React experience a plus)
  • Databases/Data Management:
    • Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, and Azure SQL Database
  • Cloud Technologies:
    • Microsoft Azure architecture, services, and deployment best practices
  • Frameworks and Libraries:
    • .NET Framework, .NET Core, Web API, CQRS Pattern, MVC, Entity Framework Core
  • Development Tools and Methodologies:
    • Visual Studio, Git, Agile, Scrum, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar)
  • Security Protocols:
    • Knowledge of authentication/authorization (e.g., OAuth, Active Directory), secure coding practices

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience with Microsoft technologies and solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise applications using .NET technologies.
  • Proven ability to lead technical projects, work with cross-functional teams, and support client needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, SharePoint, and Dynamics 365 preferred.
  • Experience working in client-facing roles and providing technical guidance.

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and technical review meetings.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and design solutions.
  • Develop, test, and deploy scalable applications using .NET and related technologies.
  • Perform code reviews, unit testing, and troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft systems.
  • Support client inquiries, provide technical training, and ensure systems operate efficiently.
  • Document system configurations, processes, and best practices for ongoing maintenance.
  • Stay current with industry trends and continuously improve the team’s technical capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Azure certifications, or comparable credentials are an advantage.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional learning and development.
