The role of a Procurement Director is pivotal in ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services that are essential for an organization's operations. This is a Hybrid position is based in the Newton, MA office and reports to the Global Procurement Director. Below is an overview of the responsibilities, skills, and qualifications required for this role. Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of quality goods and services. This involves negotiating contracts, evaluating supplier performance, and managing disputes.
  • Promote innovation in procurement processes by leveraging AI, new technologies, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead and mentor the US based procurement team, fostering a collaborative environment and encouraging professional development. This includes setting performance goals, conducting reviews, and providing training.
  • Enhancing end to end procurement services and ensuring we provide top-notch support to our stakeholders
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's objectives. This includes analyzing market trends, assessing risks, and identifying opportunities for cost-saving.
  • Oversee the department's budget, ensuring that expenditures are within allocated limits and identifying areas for financial efficiency.
  • Ensure that all procurement activities comply with relevant, regulations, and company policies. This involves conducting audits and implementing best practices.
  • Generate detailed reports on procurement activities, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas that require attention.
