Role overview
As a Senior Technical Artist, you will be the main bridge between the programming and art teams within the studio. You will work closely with both teams to optimize the workflows and processes as much as possible. You will be working on challenges such as VFX, rendering, and textures.

Responsibilities
Lead the development of the Tech Art Department.
Work closely with Artists and Engineers on creating optimized, high quality visual assets, tools and pipelines.
Solve complex technical art challenges.
Define and document technical art processes, tools and good practices.
Maintain the content creation pipeline.
Communicate and cooperate with other teams in pursuing common goals.
Inspire and Mentor the Technical Art team, building a relationship based on creativity, trust, and excellence.
Cultivate the team culture with the company’s values and goals.
Problem-solving profile regarding technical aspects of the Art creation assets (textures, VFXs, Rendering, etc.).
Knowledge & Experience
6+ years of experience as a Technical Artist.
Experience crafting shaders, VFXs and tailored visual solutions for technical art production.
Solid portfolio showing expertise in crafting shaders, VFXs or procedural deployment of visual solutions.
Strong knowledge of tools like Houdini, Substance, Blender, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to identify workflow issues and solutions
Strong aesthetic judgment and Art culture.
Experience with UE4/UE5
Aesthetic and artistic eye.
