Job Description

This internship offers a Service Technician apprenticeship in Brugge, Belgium. The role involves developing technical skills through training programs and on-the-job experience with a Senior Technician at a Tesla Service Center. Responsibilities include tire changes, wheel swaps, fluid replenishments, door handle repairs (Tesla-specific), wiper blade replacements, annual service (Tesla-specific), 4-wheel alignments, drive unit replacements (Tesla-specific), basic diagnostics, body adjustments, using various tools, equipment inspections and calibrations, and PDI of new cars. The ideal candidate is enrolled in school, possesses strong teamwork and reliability, is passionate about transportation changes, has C1 English proficiency, good communication skills, understands technical concepts, and has basic computer skills. A European driver's license is preferred.

In this position, you will get the opportunity to develop your technical skills via a combination of exciting training programs and an ongoing training on the job, provided by a Senior Technician. You will be working at one of our world class Service Centers in Belgium.

What You’ll Do

Bandenwissels
Wielen wisselen
Vloeistof bijvullen
Deurgrepen (dit is een Tesla-specifieke reparatie, het is goed om te weten hoe dit wordt uitgevoerd)
Wisserbladen vervangen
Jaarlijkse service (dit is een Tesla-specifieke reparatie, het is goed om te weten hoe dit wordt uitgevoerd)
Uitlijning van 4 wielen (kennis en alle basisprincipes die te maken hebben met het uitlijnen van een voertuig)
Aandrijfeenheid vervangen (dit is een Tesla-specifieke reparatie, het is goed om te weten hoe dit wordt uitgevoerd)
Basisdiagnostiek
Carrosserie-aanpassingen
Bedienen van diverse hand-, elektrische en werkplaatsgereedschappen
Uitvoeren van apparatuurinspecties en -kalibraties
Uitvoeren van PDI (Pre-delivery inspection) van nieuwe auto's

What You’ll Bring

Je moet gedurende de stageperiode ingeschreven staan op school
Sterk gevoel voor teammentaliteit en betrouwbaarheid
Positief, enthousiast en gepassioneerd over de veranderingen in de transportsector
Niveau C1 in de Engelse taal (spreken en schrijven)
Goede mondelinge en schriftelijke communicatievaardigheden en het vermogen om instructies op te volgen
Vermogen om zakelijke kwesties en technische concepten te begrijpen en over te brengen
Wij geven de voorkeur aan kandidaten met een Europees rijbewijs en een veilig rijgedrag
Computer basisvaardigheden (Excel, Word, Outlook, web)

You have to be enrolled in education for the full duration of this apprenticeship
Strong sense of team mentality and reliability
Positive, enthusiastic and passionate about the changes in the transportation industry
Level C1 in English language (spoken and written)
Good oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to follow instructions as required
Ability to understand and convey business issues and technical concepts
We prefer candidates with an European driver’s license with a safe driving record
Basic Computer skills (excel, word, outlook, web)
