Sinch is seeking a high-performing Strategic Account Executive to manage the sales process from lead generation to closure. The role involves navigating complex sourcing models, legal negotiations, and technical product discussions. The ideal candidate possesses strong IaaS and SaaS sales experience, a proven track record of closing enterprise and strategic sales, and expertise in advising clients and partners. Responsibilities include exceeding quarterly targets, prospecting, developing key decision-makers, handling inbound/outbound leads, and collaborating with technical account managers. The role requires selling complex enterprise platform solutions, understanding API value propositions, and hunting new customers while developing existing ones. The successful candidate will be comfortable selling solutions ranging from $20,000 to $1M+ ARR.

Description

We are looking for a high performing, creative, flexible, high-energy individual to take opportunities from lead to closed won, while navigating complex sourcing models, legal negotiations, and highly technical product conversations. The ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of and experience in IaaS and SaaS sales models, and a proven track record of closing enterprise and strategic sales opportunities as well as partner ecosystem opportunities. The Strategic Account Executive specializes in advising clients and partners, aligning to business goals and leading resources in the development and delivery of solutions that meet and exceed client expectations. Solid work ethic, personal accountability, resourcefulness to change, strong organization skills and critical thinking are all assets’ candidates will need to demonstrate to be successful in this role. The right candidate will eagerly pursue opportunities to upsell and cross sell platform products to existing customers as well as target and close net new accounts ranging anywhere from $20,000 ARR to $1M+ARR.

  • Exceed quarterly targets through prospecting, developing, and persuading key decision-makers at premium companies
  • Field incoming leads as well as generate outbound calls, occasionally making client site visits and presentations.
  • Uses internal relationships to exceed customer expectations and provide support to the team.
  • Engages and persuades mid-level to senior level management.
  • Works with Technical Account Managers to vet onboarding the right large volume senders, omitting bad actors before we engage in a lengthy sales process.

Requirements

  • Strong professional sales expertise to include the sales process and sales techniques.
  • Good knowledge of complex configurations which apply to offerings based on customer’s needs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate technical info and ideas so others will understand.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of Enterprise Sales experience and a track record of personally selling and closing complex technical solutions to enterprises and software companies in excess of $100K per year in sales price and deal size.
  • Comfortable with selling complex enterprise platform solution, understanding of API value proposition
  • Demonstrated success in selling innovative technologies to medium and large organization
  • Ability to ‘hunt’ new customers and develop current ones

The annual starting salary for this position is $150,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. This position is eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan. Commissions for this position are estimated to be $150,000 annually and are based on performance.  This role will be accepting applications until February 3rd, 2025 at a minimum.
