The Mid-Market Sales (MMS) Manager at Google Customer Solutions (GCS) Poland leads a high-performing sales team, coaching them to understand advertiser needs and deliver solutions for business growth. This role involves exceeding ambitious goals (OKRs), managing diverse business portfolios, and developing long-term client strategies. Responsibilities include managing a team of Account Executives, building C-level relationships, developing joint Google-client strategies, achieving growth goals through product presentations, and building in-depth knowledge of Google advertising products. The manager will own the strategy, planning, and execution of team-wide account growth and contribute to the overall strategic direction of their segment of the Mid-Market Sales team. Fluency in English and Polish is essential for client relationship management.

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, or business development, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience with people management.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Polish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Track record of commercial teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing).
  • Knowledge of traditional and online marketing strategy and tactics or multi-channel experience.
  • Understanding of multichannel and consumer good dynamics.
  • Ability to own sales team operations in Poland: portfolio management, team building, KPI measurement, execution.
  • Ability to model and coach sales behaviors including C-level engagement, effective questioning, objection handling, and competitive selling.

The Mid-Market Sales (MMS) team is a critical growth engine for medium-size clients in Google Customer Solutions (GCS) Poland. Through long-term relationship development, we’re dedicated to understanding the business goals by providing advertising solutions to drive business success. We’re responsible for increasing advertising business and product adoption growth by educating, promoting solutions and pitching with clients directly.

As a Mid-Market Sales manager, you will lead and coach a high-performing Sales team to help them understand our advertisers' needs and deliver measurable solutions that grow their businesses. You will enable your team to exceed ambitious business and product goals and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), assisting them in managing portfolios of diverse businesses at various stages. Your knowledge of how Google’s solutions can solve various clients' business challenges will be key to success. You will own the strategy, planning, and execution of team-wide account growth and also contribute to the overall strategic direction of their segment of the Mid-Market Sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Account Executives, set and communicate team priorities and make decisions and support activities that align with Google’s values.
  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and executive partner stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.
  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Build an in-depth knowledge of how Google advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
