The role will play a pivotal role in executing Buckman’s SHERQ strategy. The SHERQ Coordinator is responsible to ensure compliance on Buckman policies and procedures on Regulatory, Quality, Safety, Health & Environment.
• Collaboration with sales and operations to ensure SHE requirements’ compliance.
• Management of LTIR & OIR indicators
• Establishing good communication with warehouses to ensure compliance.
• Advising Buckman about ergonomics for associate’s health and safety
• Hazmat (hazardous materials regulations), warehouse and transports
• To coordinate internal and external ISO audits
• Managing Non-Conformance’s process and monitoring action plans
• To provide support to Quality Assurance to approve products’ specifications
• To provide COAs to customers in timely manner.
• To coordinate samples’ analysis with warehouses or suppliers to ensure quality standards and/or extend shelf life.
• To carry out product updates (raw materials and finished product) in the SAP system
• Overseeing tolling agreements/contracts’ compliance
• Collaborating with other operation areas to ensure supply on time.
• Ensuring full compliance of tollers with quality requirements.
• Maintaining registrations, licenses and certification updated (Mexico and Central America)
• Execute disposal of chemicals according to regulations
• Ensuring the SHE training is aligned to global standards and local regulations
