Overview

Microsoft Instant Play (Casual Games) team is responsible for delivering best user experience of Casual Games that Microsoft provides through different products (e.g., Edge browser, Bing.com, MSN.com).

Microsoft Instant Play Growth & Experience Team is looking for a self-motivated, creative service engineer with strong computer science fundamentals to champion quality customer experience. You will get a chance to work on complex, global challenges and deliver groundbreaking solutions that shape the way casual games fans consume content.

As a vital member of the team developing the upcoming MSN Instant Play (casual games) experiences, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional user experiences. We are seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to enhance the entertainment value for MSN users engaging with our product.

Qualifications

BS/MS degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in any of these languages - C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
2+ Experience with modern client-side/web technologies such as React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Webpack, Node.js or similar.
Experienced in architecting, building, and maintaining UX component libraries that adhere to modern web standards.
Passion for improving software quality and engineering excellence.
Experience in Agile and DevOps development methodologies.
English proficiency on a business level.
A strong team player and collaborator, across time zones and diverse stakeholder.
